À propos de cet audio
Filo's Fear: A Novelette From The Squirrel and the Quest For Zannar is an exciting and action packed fantasy story of a time before man reigned supreme. The world was a fresh, exciting new place that was governed by magic. There were many realms, each separate from the other. They were divided by the type of beings that inhabited them. Elves, dwarves, fairies; they all inhabited their own separate realm. There were realms dominated by animals with the power of communication. Many of the creatures that inhabited these realms had yet to be dominated by the rational thought and behavior that man later used to control his environment and surroundings. Humankind was little known in this world, not having spread yet to but a few enclaves. Throughout the realms a common speech prevailed, allowing the different species to communicate. Elven tongue, as well as dwarf and human speech were one in the same with regional differences. Because of their inherent arrogance, very few humans had the power to understand the common speech used by the animals and thus were cut off from communication with many of the realms.
During this time magic flowed freely and enabled animals to be and do things, which in today’s world would be unthinkable. Noble acts by simple creatures inspired the keepers of the white magic to find ways to help them to fight and defeat evil when it arose in one of the realms. The awesome power of magic when used for evil ends could create creatures that could upset the balance and destroy the realms. This story is one of that world, which existed when magic ruled, before the rise of mankind.
