My name is Michel Daley. I am a seasoned entrepreneur who has purchased, owned and operated several multi-million-dollar businesses. As a result, I gained a broad-based expertise in multiple facets of business operations, including management, strategic planning, finance, business brokerage, lease and contract negotiations, and marketing and promotion. I have served on corporate boards and as a Media Relations Specialist and Corporate Spokesperson for Verizon, one of the largest telecommunications companies in America. During my career I received multiple awards for my business acumen, and have served at a guest lecturer at several conferences and universities.

As a business owner, I have had multiple situations in which I needed to raise capital from outside sources. Some were successful, some were not. Some of my businesses were in industries, such as restaurants and nightclubs, where securing traditional sources of capital was tremendously difficult due to the high failure rate for those types of businesses. In addition, as I became more successful and more well-known in my community, I started being approached by entrepreneurs who wanted me to invest in their ventures. Those experiences taught me a wealth of knowledge about how to secure investment capital from outside sources. My purpose for developing this guide is to help other entrepreneurs access capital for their businesses.
