Description

Better than book 1 in most ways

The pacing in this book was much better. Book 1 dragged in the beginning and got good by the end. This one was consistently good.

I was a tad disappointed that the point spending part of the magic system was kind of thrown aside. Parts of the magic system were explained, but other parts were zoomed through.

Gave the second book a chance. I’ve now added it to my favourites. I’ll gladly grab book 3 when it comes.
