two of the best voices in one book! Unfortunately, the story doesn’t quite match the talent. It’s too short and feels like a condensed version of something that could have been great. So much happens so fast, without the depth it deserves — I felt like I listened to a six-book series crammed into four hours.

I avoided this one for a while because it’s so short and the plot description seemed kind of cringy but eventually I gave in because of the simple fact that Abby Craden and Angela Dawe narrated it. I had to do it.

I’ll admit that it wasn’t as cringy as I had initially predicted but it was too short. I liked the MCs and their story was sort of cute but the story skimmed over details in parts that could have been delved into and explained better. Right at the point you expect a major conflict or dramatic event to occur, the story wraps up in a neat little package. I liked the way it ended, I just wish there was more story line involved.

It was decent and the narration was epic as expected so just go for it and give it a listen.

Abby Craden and Angela Dawe narrating? Do you really need more of a reason to listen?

Flipcup is basically the collab of every lesbian’s wet dream. Abby and Angela, the reigning queens of sapphic narration, finally share a stage and it’s got us all collectively unwell in the best way. The story itself is hot and smart but let’s be real, we came for the voices!!! The only way this could have been hotter is if they were narrating together in real time. I’m talking dueling dirty talk, flirty banter ping ponging back and forth, headphone melting levels of erotic energy. Still, chapter swapping between these two vocal goddesses is enough to keep your earbuds glued in and your brain fully distracted.

Two of my favorite narrators! I only listened to this because of Angela Dawe ( my first fave) and Abby Craden (second fave). I enjoyed it because of their performances. 🤭

How could you not enjoy your favourite narrators in the same read! Overall a good read, but likely wouldn't have picked based on the title.
