I struggled to get through this book and with so much drear in the end I almost didn't finish it.
I wouldn't buy again, I can follow around and jump all over the place left you being wandered by who this person is suddenly appeared on the screen

Exquisitely crafted sequel to Firefly Lane
My fourth book in a row, of Kristin Hannah and I literally couldn't stop listening. The escape is and was a welcome distraction from the current chaos in the world 2020/21 C19. Hold on tight to your loved ones, tell them often you love them, you're proud of them, don't let go. These are feelings deeply messaged into the continuing story of Tuli and Kate, Margie and Dorothy, Mara and Johnny. I absolutely loved this story. Love and warmest wishes to future readers.

Fire Fly Lane and Fly away, my absolute favourite books to date. I will miss Kate and Tully, that's how amazing this story is.

All the feels
These two books really affected me. The era, growing up with a best friend. Parents. Addictions. The loss and grief. I have never been on such an emotional roller coaster in a book before.

Sequel to Firefly Lane
I didn't realize this was a sequel to Firefly Lane. Alone I felt was a great book, but had way more context having read the first book previously. Kristen Hannah did a great job reflecting so that the reader didn't have to know the first book to understand this one. It was a very well written story and was the full circle ending I had hoped for.

A lot of the same thing over and over
I have read other books by Kristen Hannah and enjoyed them, however this one as a follow up to Firefly Lane was too much of the same thing (in my opinion). I’m also finding Kristen focuses on unhappy endings. For me, reading this at this time with all the unhappy things going on around us as well as Covid Ive had enough of sadness. I’m looking for more upbeat and happy times. I wont rush to read another of her books for a long time.
