Bradford Hastings is an amazing narrator for this fast-paced legal thriller about scandal and scumbags in Hollywood. Our protagonist, Brad Madison, is battling PTSD and a pending divorce while taking on the biggest case…not only in his life, but in Hollywood itself. When the biggest movie exec in town is not only accused of murder but also of being a child predator, everyone has an opinion…but it’s up to Madison to separate the fact from fiction.

An excellent cast of characters, this is one of those high-octane “quick reads” you won’t want to put down. The courtroom climax is wild, and while it does move fast…it doesn’t have that rushed, “oh no, was this due tomorrow?!” feel that some books have when trying (and failing) to do the fast-paced gimmick.

The denouement will clearly be polarizing for readers. I’m on the fence with it; it’s something that will definitely leave me thinking for a while. Which is a good thing. Definitely will hunt down the next instalment.
