Three friends, women in their fifties, set out to hike "the most beautiful long-distance trail in the world," the John Muir Trail. I enjoyed every minute of this story! It was like being along during all the joy and challenges that the three women experienced. Only one issue was that every time I interrupted the playing it would restart on a particular chapter. Even if i had listened to a few chapters in a row. I had to keep track of the number that I was listening to and reset it. That was very annoying.

This interesting audiobook really helped car travel time go by quickly during our long days driving to/from the Canadian Rockies. We would actually rate it 4 1/2 stars. We reserve 5 stars for exceptional stories. BTW: We are avid day hikers. This book further strengthened our resolve to not do backpacking.
