While this concludes the Frankenstein series, it had its problems:
Some of the antagonists had too much power. The only way they were defeated was because of unspecified malfunctions and by the Deus ex machina ending of the book.
The deus ex machina conclusion was a little too convenient. It's as though the author had become weary of the story, and decided to end it.
The protagonist was too powerful. Preternatural intuition, the ability to be anywhere at will. His curing of an autisic child in the 3rd book was a bit much.
Considering we're talking about Frankenstein's monster...
