Wesley Greenfield approaches Dr. Rosalyn Hunter, his high school crush, even though she’s now stepping up to help him protect three abandoned neighborhood kids. As the principal of the local elementary school, she’s in a league he believes is far above his as the owner of a struggling community center. Ice had to grow up fast after the tragic loss of his only living parent when he was nineteen. Now, he relies on his childhood friends, who share his dreams of a better life, to help run the center. Although he longs to be with Rosalyn, he’s determined to build a future for himself and his community.
Rosalyn, however, isn’t willing to let the man she’s cared about since high school slip away.
