Our FMC, Petronille, is absolutely mesmerizing even with her “affliction”. She is smart, curious, impulsive and in Ophelia’s fashion a deep and complex personality that will make you fall in love with her battiness very fast. Even when she throws tantrums she finds a way to be delightful.
Arkady, our MMC, is a sculptor, charming, bold and confident, with an absolutely amazing complexity, he is written as a true dream MMC. He not only grounded Petronille, but he also allowed her to grow and blossom in her own person. Their chemistry was built beautifully and palpably, and by the time we get to the spicy scenes, Ophelia is a magician with some of the best spice ever written.
Audiobook: narrated in dual style by Luna Rey and Teddy Hamilton. I was surprised at the beginning that this was chosen as a dual narration, both Luna and Teddy complemented each other beautifully, blending their chapters seamlessly with the characters, and delivering an organic performance. Luna has such an amazing voice i cant wait to experience her in more books. This audiobook is a masterpiece!
