This is the kind of story that begs to be directly converted into a TV series.
The characters are engaging and grounded, which is hard to do with a story where people have superpowers. You can feel the love, the heartache, the pain that every character experiences, and the way they hide it from their loved ones in very natural ways.
On to the next book in the series, which I'm confident will be as good as the last three.
