Keeps you immersed through the book although not as good as the first of the series

This is a most excellent epic story. I can't wait to hear the rest. Characters, descriptions, pacing and everything else is so well done I can't get enough.

Better than book 1. More exciting, less drawn out. Some character lines seemed a bit slow still but eventually picked up.

Occasionally a little too graphic when describing fighting and violence.

I will be excited to listen to book 3. Great series overall.
