New to me author and I loved the story and the characters! Greg Boudreaux is a fantastic narrator, excellent job! There isn’t anything I didn’t like about this book!

Really liked this one. Maz inherits a beautiful house with a sad history. And a ghost. As the story unfolds, what was an accident becomes a murder mystery with an unexpected villain. Loved it. And the feels!

Greg was great, as usual. Feels!

I listened to this as my second "read" of it, and Greg Boudbreaux does a great job narrating. I loved revisting everyone.

It was quick and fun. It's a bit light on romance, but I'm assuming it's a continuing series and we'll hopefully get more Maz and Ricky in the future! Along with Gil, of course. It was fun to get to know the house, the ghost, and all Ricky's extended family (lol).

The bad guy wasn't totally a surprise to me, but I liked seeing how it all got figured out and what the motivations were. And there's questions and mysteries left for the future! (What *does* Ricky do for a living, lol.)

I was thoroughly amused by all the ghost/ghostwriting humour. The townspeople are nice and entertaining as well.

Looking forward to more!

The characters are sweet. Even the antihero in the story, no spoilers here, was quite dynamic. Great first book and I can’t wait to hear the next one.
Kudos to the narrator.
