a great book about an a lesser known war
the story of the chosin reservoir was riveting and the storyteller was great as well.

Good book about a forgotten war
This is a great book that tells the stories of the many men who fought in what is arguably one of the most overlooked wars of the 20th century. This book adds to the memory of those who died fighting some of the hardest battles since World War Two, and ensures their sacrifices will not be forgotten. It also helps to shed light on the brutality and atrocities experienced, pulling no punches with the description of awful crimes and death.

A good read.
A good read with a decent narrator. I’ve read a couple other books describing the Chosin Reservoir battle however this one deals more with the individual marines experience. The story of the companies formation before deployment was interesting.
