Though the dialogue itself is quite good, the inflections for the rest of the narration can be quite annoying. Pushing past some lacking narration (and as I just said, the actual dialogue is good), I'm starting to really get into it.
I'm glad I gave this series a chance. The story is interesting and I'm excited to keep reading.
