This is one of the clearest descriptions of how to apply the gospel in the fruit to root/root to fruit method. I have learned about this years about, but this simple method made it so clear and easy that I started doing it with my kids within an hour of reading it. Thank you SO much! This book is a must read if you want to apply the gospel to every day stuff!

Can you clearly and thoughtfully explain what the Gospel is to someone and why it is the Good News? Has the Gospel really impacted you so much that you can’t help but tell everyone about it when you have the opportunity? If not, you need to read this book. As Christians, we are all commanded to live out a Christ-like life in both actions and deeds. If you struggle with this (like virtually everyone else), Gospel Fluency is a book you should read to help you.

I liked the overall concept but hated the demeaning way he talks to his wife and kids. it made him appear self righteous which was not helpful. It made life so black and white, that God's incredible grace was lacking. In one breath he tells his kids they deserve to die and in another says repent for low self worth. God never demean like that. he sees our struggles and while we are yet sinners loves, esteem and redeems. I love Gospel intentionally but I will never tell a child they deserve to die. I'll choose to exemplify grace instead.
