Grass Grows in the Pyrenees, the second book in the series Death in the Pyrenees, gives insights into the workings and atmosphere of a small French town and the surrounding mountains in the Eastern Pyrenees.
The story unfolds as told by Danielle, a single, 30-year-old, recently promoted cop. The sudden and mysterious death of a local farmer who is suspected of growing cannabis opens a Pandora's box of trouble. It's a race against time to stop the gangsters before the town and everyone in it is damaged beyond repair.
