Fantastic story!

I have loved this book for over 20 years and read it again and again. The story is well paced, the characters and motivations realistic and compelling. The authors world building is top notch, with many layers of history and mythology.

The narrator unfortunately is not very good at the accents she uses for voicing some of the characters, but I didn't find it detracted from my enjoyment of the overall experience.

I really loved this book and I'm already going to looking into the rest.

I have never hear of this before or even author before. The only reason I got it was just to have something to listen to while I game. But I got so caught up into listening to it, I'd even neglect playing.

the characters are very well written and not once did I get a description of a women being compared to 'plump fruit.' For that alone gets 3 stars.

The world the author created is simply amazing and though I found only one cringey part, I even came to love it as well.

I've been a fan of the Green Rider series for 23 years but I'm new to audiobooks. Well, I did try an audiobook two or three decades ago and hated it.

But obviously it depends on the narrator. Ellen Archer made me a fan. Once I'm done listening to the rest of the series on audio I'll branch out into other series. Just hope I can find ones as good as these.

Kristen Britain has built a beautiful world with Sacoridia, its culture and its history. One of the few series of books I re-read regularly! Dont be surprised if you fall in love with every character and every aspect of these books!

Don't miss out!

You need to persevere through the first several chapters void of dialogue and buried in needless suscriptores and simile. Once the characters begin talking the story improves greatly.
