I don’t know why I was surprised at the breadth of emotion this story evoked for me. This is a Kelly Fox story after all, and she always delivers on the snarky, witty banter, action, heart-melting moments, and steamy scenes in equal measure.
Blake Lockheart does an amazing job performing this. He’s created a very distinct voice for each of the two MC’s and is consistent, so you know who’s speaking, and who’s thoughts you’re hearing at any given time. And the sexy growl he does for Lazar is, uh, wow, blush-inducing, and had me squirming and hiding in my hood at times.
You might not want to listen to this one in public though, just saying ;-).
