this is without a doubt the best of the 25 plus halo books I've read , so much so that I actually listened to it a second time

damn good story

A shorter story for sure, but top notch writing and impeccable voice performance make this easily one my top Halo novels. Really enjoyed it. The story most of all was consise and and extremely well written.

A good portion of the book was just a drawn out recap of the video game ODST and the narrator was very dull but over all was pretty good

I used to like buck then realized….god he’s such a simp like I know In the ODST game that him and Veronica had a thing but this book my god talk about just doing anything for a girl no matter how she treats you. Plus there isn’t much of what I like of halo this is mostly a romance during half the chapters
