I wasn't a fan of the female narrator, just fell flat to me. Alexander Cendese is one of my favorite narrators and I did enjoy his part. Honestly probably the only reason I didn't DNF.

The book overall is ok just wasn't a style I tend to like. Felt like a lot of people shaming and judging. To the point it took away from his self-esteem and confidence issues. The stereotypes also run hard in this book. There is also contradictions. I also don't get why she knows nothing about baseball if she grew up watching it. Cool to not be into it now but it made her just seem dim-witted.
Though I admit it had few good one liners.
