À propos de cet audio
Welcome to Heat Haven, a facility where Omegas can safely go through their heat alongside pre-screened and carefully selected Alphas.
Emily: My heat is getting closer. With heat suppressants off the table and no pack to call my own in sight, Heat Haven seems to be my only option. Can I be vulnerable enough for Alphas I don't know to help me in my time of need?
Griffin: I want a pack and an Omega to cherish. The problem? I don't like most people and I work too much. Where better to meet someone than a place where you contractually participate in a heat with strangers?
Omega and Alpha pheromones ignite in this spicy novella. With a chance encounter and an upcoming heat, can Emily and Griffin find what they're looking for in each other?
Contains mature themes.

📚EBOOK📚 & 🎧AUDIO 🎧
The theme of the week in my reading groups was Paranormal, so naturally I went browsing through the Audible catalogue (thank you subscription perks 🙌). I wanted something not too long, not too short—just enough to scratch that omegaverse itch without committing to a 20-hour saga. Heat Haven fit perfectly, so I borrowed it and hit play.
And listen… this book is spicy. Like, pheromones-flying-everywhere spicy.
The premise is actually really interesting: Heat Haven is a facility where Omegas can safely experience their heat with pre-screened Alphas. It’s contractual, controlled, and designed to protect everyone involved. Emily’s heat is approaching fast, suppressants aren’t an option, and she doesn’t have a pack. Heat Haven feels like her only choice.
Griffin, on the other hand, wants a pack and an Omega to cherish—but he’s introverted, works too much, and doesn’t exactly thrive in social settings. So… what better place to meet someone than a structured heat contract with strangers?
The chemistry? Immediate. Explosive. No slow simmer here.
I genuinely liked the concept and the dynamic between Emily, Griffin, and Dion. The heat scenes absolutely deliver (🌶️ level 5 and proud of it). It’s intense, immersive, and very much what you expect from an omegaverse novella centered around heat and pheromones.
That said… I do wish it had been a bit longer.
There’s a solid story here, but it felt slightly underdeveloped. The emotional bonding—especially between Dion and Emily—needed more space to breathe. After all that intensity, we jump ahead seven months into an epilogue. And I wasn’t ready for that time skip. We skipped over an important phase where the relationships could have deepened on page, and I would have loved to see that growth instead of being told about it later.
Still, it was an enjoyable, very spicy ride for a paranormal-themed week pick.
The audio was nicely done in dual style, and both Jameson Adams and Scarlett Dorian really fit the vibe. Their performances elevated the experience and made the chemistry feel even more charged.
Two quotes that made me smile:
“I guess she was going for the pretty princess, underground rave, **uckfest aesthetic.”
“Omega perfume really is some bull. Can't a girl get turned on without the entire world knowing?"
Overall, this was a fun, hot, quick omegaverse fix. Not perfect, not super deep, but definitely entertaining—and sometimes that’s exactly what I’m looking for. On to see what pack book two will bring 👀🔥
