I can’t get enough of this series! I’ve already downloaded the next two books so I don’t miss a beat when I’m finished.

The heat and chemistry between Carrigan and James was off the charts, and the fact that their romance was forbidden only added to the intrigue. Only complaint is that there was no epilogue so you need to read through the other books in the series to find out what happens.

Though this could be read as a standalone, I recommend starting with book 1: The Marriage Contract and there are some spoilers in The Marriage Pact.

I liked the second book, Carrigan and James story. They are enemies than lovers turned enemies when James kidnapped her, than lovers again. Carrigan is meant to be wed, her father insists, but he would never, ever approve of James Halloran, an enemy family. The chemistry, banter and lust between these two is palpable. More of the other characters that will be featured in the other books. Great reading.
