I listened to the whole book it was plain and the mc was a typical naieve goody goody but I kept on thinking it would get better but yeah it didn't even the ending is boring and didn't make me want to read the next one it had promise I think you could cut the story in half remove the end part and rewrite it and it could be awesome the cover image is also misleading because I thought there would be battles and there are none. It's just incomplete as an author you should understand that people are paying for this so you should at least deliver a whole book or put disclaimer that it's not a book 1 but an introduction maybe then we could make an informed purchase honestly never felt more ripped of with an audible purchase
