Centuries on, what the Reformation was and what it accomplished remain deeply contentious. King Henry VIII wanted an orderly, uniform Reformation, but his actions opened a Pandora's Box from which pluralism and diversity flowed and rooted themselves in English life.

Love this book

Excellent writing and personally I like the voice actor very much as well. Comes across as quite well researched and balanced, not polemically one-sided, etc. Doesn't go too into depth with the theological debates of the time but this is a history book so that's better left to hear from the theologians.
