I read the text many times in my youth, and find myself revisiting it (coincidentally) at the age that Rob is during the story. One of Hornby's most insightful and incisive works. He has a deep understanding his characters's thoughts and motivations, giving us what feels like a hi fi glimpse into another mind.

reminded me of many books, films and people having relationship issues and written in a weird way. Thought the music examples would help (I really love some of the music provided). Yet my mind just shut off.
