Stark is such a great character that I’ll follow him almost anywhere through Kadrey’s circuitous plots . As I listen to the Sandman Slim novels I can’t wait for his next personal aside full of more contemplation and humour than I’d have in a month of Sunday’s. I’d also listen to MacLeod Andrew’s voice, or should I say voices , for hours. Oh, wait, I’ve already done that . But his performance of the cackler in this last book threw me from mere appreciation into my first experience as a fan . He is amazing ! I’d spend many hours with almost any stories just to listen to him . Huge thanks to Kadrey and to Andrews for the fun .
