Holy Sister ties off all the loose ends on this great trilogy. I thought that Red Sister was the best of the three, and Holy Sister the weakest, but it's a must-read if you made it this far. I wasn't crazy about the back-and-forth between events that occurred immediately after Grey Sister and the present, and some of it, especially in the present, seemed to drag on. One part that kind of bugged me was that the Emperor was noticeably absent. He's mentioned, but never appears in person. Overall, I like the world. It has a lot of possibilities for good storytelling, and Heather O'Neill does a great job in all three books.

Battle witch nuns. An almost exclusively female cast of various relationships and characters. Classic orphanish child sold/goes to school, becomes an almost chosen one, definitely hero, friendship is the answer.

Exciting end to a great trilogy. The narration is outstanding and the characters continue to be complex and interesting.

The story is split between 2 different periods of time: 3 Years Ago and Present Day. When the perspective would switch, I was on the edge of my seating eager for when the perspective would switch back. Obviously, the pacing of the story was great. You also learn a lot more about the world of Abeth. Enough that most of my questions about it were answered. The ending was very satisfying.

Once again, Heather O'Neill was fantastic as the narrator.

this was a well written, sometimes predictable trilogy. it did have some marvellous plot twists and the characters are well developed.

Loved the pace. Excellent character development. The narrator was perfect for the story. I could, and have, listen/listened to her all day. All three were superbly done.

I am sad to leave the world of Abeth and I will miss the characters. I'll have to restart the series again in a couple years. I can be picky with fantasy books, especially ones you find on audible since the quality of self published books is so variable. But this one does not disappoint.
