The story is a captivating account of the author's time working undercover on Vancouver’s Granville Strip, told with honesty and grit. Hearing it performed adds even more tension and realism to an already powerful memoir. Beyond being a fascinating look at undercover police work, the book also shines a light on the realities of addiction and those caught in its grip - a reminder that the challenges described are still very present today.
