I bought this simply because I love following Southend Dog training on insta, but was worried that it would be a manual about how to teach basic commands. Instead this is a very pragmatic essay on how to raise dogs well. Some content was new to me, some was affirmation bag I’m already doing. Regardless of a dog’s age or behaviour, this book is well worth the read/ quick listen.
