I really liked the first book in this series…this one nearly killed me to get through. Extraneous details and over complication of everything just ruined the story.

The voice acting of Frances was different from the first book. I found this version of Frances shrill and quite difficult to listen to. I couldn’t reconcile her with a character I believe was more shrewd and intelligent.
