I absolutely loved listening to this recording of Howl's Moving Castle. It is a well-loved anime and felt that I was able to see all of the characters in my mind as I listened this book. Although Studio Ghibli had made many changes I feel like the ones that they did did not take away from this wonderful book. I give this a 10 out of 10 and would read again. The only thing that I didn't like very much was the readers voice for Howel.

This book is definitely meant for kids but it's a cute little story. No major conflicts which makes it a nice and easy read.

I watched the Miyazaki film, first, and I didn’t think the book would have the same captivating whimsy, but it did. The details that the book add are perfect, and I fell in love with the characters even more. Also, the story is so creative, and the narrator is very good. I definitely flew through this book in a day.

It was a great slowburn romance. It was interesting to see how all the characters in the story (especially Sophie) change throughout the story.
I am definitely gonna re-listen (or re-read) in the future.
The ending was amazing! There were so many subtle clues scattered throughout the story.
