À propos de cet audio

Dark, deviant, and deliriously funny, Jude Angelini writes in the colloquial vein of Charles Bukowski, using his unique, natural voice to tell stories from his life. He writes about his sexual encounters - both strange and intimate - alongside stories from his childhood and his tell-all experiences with "science drugs". Throughout it all, Jude is critical of himself and his actions, proving himself to be vulnerable, lonely, and extremely relatable. A stellar follow-up to Hyena.

An honest portrayal of his life. It had its highs and lows. Kept me interested

Depressing and eye opening.

I stumbled across Jude by accident on his show on XFM; as soon as I realized I could order his book in an audio format, I did.

I really enjoyed the story, Jude’s voice and accent; I felt the darkness and despair and the hope.

I will be purchasing the second book next.

Brilliant!

Hummingbird is a great look into the mind of one of the realest folks out there. Jude doesn't sugar coat things for this new soft generation. He tells it like it is as he shares his life experiences. A great read/listen!

A great insight

I am used to hearing Jude on Sirius so it took a bit to get used to his tone while reading the book. Some shocking stories in here but got to respect that Jude lets it all hang out and doesnt hold back. Once I started listening, I couldnt stop until it was done. I was definetly entertained and would recommend this book to anyone who has enjoyed Jude on Ellis or Shade 45.

refreshingly honest

Jude is an amazing talent. he makes you feel his pain, and face your own. If you can relate to coping through life with nothing but drugs and sex, and not in a way that glorifies either in most cases, then this book was written for you.

The bender continues.

The book itself is a very good read but listening to Jude read it makes it complete. It is definitely a must have for anyone who is a fan of Jude and his writing.

Great read - Even better as an audible book.

there is so much raw emotion and pain in Jude's voice when he reads this. i already read the book but hearing it from the man himself put it in a whole nother realm. This honestly needs to win an award of somekind. i just finished it and i am about to start it again just to make sure i took it all in. recommended to everyone who wants to hear the realest and rawest reflection of a man's experiences in life.

amazing

A couple stories near the end repeated a line but didn’t put a damper on the entertainment value.

Wild stories

I listen to Jude’s All Out Show just about every day on my commute home, and he generally plays this book off as a bunch of stories about him getting high. I didn’t know what to expect, but I love the show and he’s usually pretty good at giving advice, and I always had the impression that he’s seen a thing or two, so I bought the book.

It’s not just a book of stories about GHB and ketamine, even though they’re the basis for most of the stories. It’s much more than that. I genuinely felt for Jude, wanted good things for him, felt his pain, laughed, choked up a time or two, and really enjoyed the book from cover to cover. It forces you to look at your life and wonder why you do the things you do. Makes you think about what’s most important, and the things that could’ve been, and could be.

Thanks, Jude.
