I have read a bunch of Megan Miranda's books. This is THE BEST one I've read so far :-) :-) :-) Not only is the story riveting, and the characters believable and not static, but, as a Criminologist and expert in Abnormal Psychology and Developmental Psychology, I know that this book is EXTREMELY realistic, in its portrayal of adolescent (and adult) thinking processes, including reactions to trauma and to other humans, but also is EXTEMELY realistic in its portrayal of behaviour and perception. HUGE kudos to Megan Miranda!!! :-) :-) :-) Oh, also, EXCELLENT narration; I could EASILY tell which character was speaking, including each male; with other narrators (especially males), they have at least a bit of a problem performing characters whose voices are not in the narrators' usual speaking-voice register. So, Holly Fielding, you ROCK!!! :-) :-) :-)
