I couldn’t have picked a better fall vibes read! Set in September 1997 (one of the best years if you ask me) and carrying through the holiday season, this book was full of small town charm (think Stars Hollow energy) and just enough 90s nostalgia to feed my millennial soul!

The relationships were well developed, not just between Michelle and Cliff, but also between Michelle and his two daughters. I really appreciated that, kids often don’t get a lot of page time in single romance stories. All the characters felt realistic and endearing. Cliff, the swoony small town baker, won me over with his great communication skills, he was just the man to connect with Michelle despite her more guarded, independent personality.
