I'm Still Here, 2nd Edition

The phrase "I'm still here" means a variety of things. What it means to each of us most often depends on the day, or perhaps the very moment we say, "I'm still here."

To be able to say "I'm still here" means that we survived yesterday: whether it is cancer, chemo, Covid, unemployment, abuse, neglect or loss, if we survived, then we have a story to tell.

Yet, "I'm still here" also means that we are living in the present, moving forward with hope. Still employed, still in a healthy relationship, still on target with today's goals, still making ends meet, still keeping up hope, still trusting God, still hanging in there, still able to say that we are alive, and living to face another great day with a positive attitude. If so, then we have a story to tell.

And even more, through his word, the Lord says, "I'm still here". God is still here: waiting, loving, forgiving, providing, healing, saving, inspiring, revealing, strengthening, guiding-still here, for us.
