A young soldier, wounded by a bomb blast in Afghanistan, will soon be the first recipient of a penis transplant. Missing limbs are common because of war, but genital damage is a "hidden wound". If this operation is successful, many more veterans will receive new genitals. Susie reads from a New York Times article by Denise Grady, who reports that this is intended only for military vets. But Susie wonders when doctors will offer this kind of operation to transgender people.

Next, the porn world is blowing the whistle on one of its own stars. Fellow performers are accusing James Deen, a favorite and beloved porn actor, of rape and abuse. Susie wonders if the Crosby case has influenced these women to cry foul against mistreatment by Deen.
