I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. I also didn’t expect to she’s a couple tears. I honestly really just loved this book. I wish there were another 5 chapters at least though!! I don’t want to give anything away but I wanted more story lol.

i was hesitant to start this book because of reviews but i am so glad i gave it a chance! it was hot as hell but also had a good story and that ending… i can honestly say i got goosebumps from happiness and reared up at the end. the ending is left open which i am not a huge fan of BUT it still gave enough that you get that HEA and leave happy. this was my first book from JA Huss and i really enjoyed it. i also loved all the narrators!

While I was doing paperwork, I decided to listen to this audiobook, I thought it was going to be an easy, light "read". Boy, was I mistaken!!! This book had everything! The angst, steamy sex scenes, and deep emotions! It was a rollercoaster ride!
The sex was beyond hot - be aware: there are MM scenes. While it's not my go-to sex kink, this was well written! The chemistry was dripping in every letter, very good.
The angst got to me and, again, I don't especially like angst in books but this was incredibly well-doled out. I had an honest-to-goodness cry at the end - it was deeply emotional and hit me straight in the solar plexus with the feels.
The narrators were fantastic! The story was fantastic! It was just fantastic!

honestly the story feels pretty shallow, meaningless and dirty at the begging, but the more you get in to it the more the begging makes sense... when everything is lost and you have nothing left why not indulge. I enjoy JA Huss writing very much, but her endings always leave me wanting more of the end. like I been robbed of the ending but its probably just me.

I couldn’t turn it off! I had to know what the end result was going to be and it did not disappoint. Hell I even had it playing in the school pick up line mind you on a much lower volume and not with my daughter in the car. I look forward to finding more books by this author that I can use to escape my every day reality!
