I completely adored this book! Henrietta narrating the book was amazing. With all of the name dropping and stories about people in the higher echelons of society and the food and tea world, this book could very easily have been one that I disliked. However, Henrietta is charming and the writing, the stories, the authenticity and passion for tea that is woven throughout this book makes it a five star read/listen for me.

I wish the environmental and human rights impacts of tea production had been discussed more, but considering that Henrietta focuses on and purchases from small, independent producers and farms, it makes sense that there isn't more coverage. My Audible-specific criticism of the book is that it does not come with the PDF that contains the recipes.

The recipe for cold brewed iced tea has transformed my beverage consumption. I have been drinking it every single day since I first listened to that chapter and have also converted my friends. I'm unlikely to purchase expensive, rare and/or exclusive high quality teas, but I have become more selective in the teas that I am purchasing and have been experimenting and broadening the types of teas that I try.
