Description

Sweet and hopeful
Oh Alexander and Tabitha, you brave and wonderful people!
Alex has had his world ripped apart by his addiction. He struggles every day to stay sober and not trade addictions. He is surrounded by family, yet still feels apart from them. As for what he feels for Tabitha, he shoves that aside every time it surfaces. He has been there, done that, and failed miserably. He doesn't trust himself to love again, no matter how good things feel with Tabitha
Tabby has been attracted to Alexander forever, but he was married, then in rehab, then in recovery. She tries to hide it, but things eventually bubble to the surface for both of them. As much as she is in love with him, she knows he isn't ready for her to say so. She sees Alexander in ways nobody else does, and as safe as she feels with him, he feels it with her
A good build up to the relationship, realistic emotions and reactions, and all that makes for an even sweeter HEA in the end!
