It’s very long! We enjoyed every moment of it and when it is over it’s very satisfying. My six year old loves it but it does have quite a bit of violence in it. It was unpredictable, witty and the performance was superb.

I really enjoyed this story, but I wish Brendan Fraser had continued his role as narrator. This narrator was fine, but he didn’t really do the voices so it was hard to recognize which character was speaking at times.

Farid's and Meggy's voice were gringy at first. But overall all other voices were well done and the story was suspenseful and enjoyable till the end

I found this book to be a little slow at times and a little confusing, what with all the characters and some of them having similar sounding names; but in the end I liked the story and how it ended.
