So much of this story makes no sense. The FL just does what the ML tells her to do from the minute she meets him. Why would she do that ? No reasons are given for either of the MC’s behaviour. It’s a very loosely written story, where none of the pieces have been put together in a way that builds a tale worth telling. The lack of warning that this ends on a cliffhanger is just maddening.
