The most inspirational and practical work I have ever encountered. As we head into historically unparallelled uncertainty, "Into the Magic Shop" gives direction, examples, cause and teaches exactly how to be the architect of your best possible life. "Into the Magic Shop" is an incredible gift to humanity.

The reading can be choppy and too slow (I had to speed it up to listen). However, the reader is also the author and his emotions were obvious throughout the story, making the hesitancy in reading forgiveable!

A fascinating story of a life's journey and how Dr. Doty achieved his success in becoming a compassionate healer.

James' story is incredibly engaging and powerful. I couldn’t stop listening. I felt deeply connected to and inspired by every part of his journey. This is a must-read for anyone who grew up in a household affected by substance abuse or mental health challenges. His story is not only relatable but also filled with so much hope and healing.

The wins and losses of navigating authenticity and compassion throughout a lifetime told with a no holds barred approach. Lots of gems I will take from this beautiful story, warts and all. Some reviews note his less than professional narrative approach to this audio but I appreciated his authenticity in doing so. I can’t imagine a polished narrator giving it the same justice. Thank you!
