What can you say about this novel that will do it justice, other than READ IT!. It dares you and you get deeper and deeper into it, compelling you to see it through. This Western thriller will have you grab a character and identify with it, that's the pull! The only thing left is to enjoy the ride as you become part of the tale.

Canadian Neil Chase's "Iron Dogs" is a bone-chilling Western-Horror about a band of outlaws that find themselves stranded in a haunted New-Mexico village. The prologue immediately sucks you in, and then you better be prepared for an absolutely wild ride. The book is beautifully written and the author does a marvelous job of fleshing out the characters, their backstories, and the environment. The audiobook performance is excellent as well, narrated by the author himself. It's always a treat to have an audiobook narrated by the author as they are able to tell the story exactly as they meant for it to be told, with all of the proper emphasis and emotion. The added sound effects and music also add to the ambiance and immersion. I don't want to give away any spoilers, all I can say is sit back, dim the lights, maybe light a few candles, and buckle up for a wild ride with an unsavory cast of characters that come face-to-face with ultimate terror. Enjoy!

Neil Chase’s Iron Dogs is a western horror that will have you hooked from start to finish. Outside from the brilliant horror aspects, you get to thoroughly know and understand the inner demons and turmoil of outlaws and their purpose. Neil Chase’s Iron Dogs beautifully marries tests of loyalty between the characters and spine tingling horror.

If you’re looking for something that will keep you engaged from the first word to the last, and you’re looking for one of the best horror experiences out there, definitely look to Iron Dogs - you won’t be disappointed.

The sound effects really added to getting immersed into the story. The whispers of the wind, a sudden gunshot.. it really draws you in!

this had me pulled in from the get go. Neil's narration with different voices for different characters really helps differentiate between each character. The sounds effects help pull you into the story
