"Na ulicy Krochmalnej 92 był wielki, biały budynek z tablicą "Dom Sierot". I tam Frania po raz pierwszy zobaczyła Panadoktora. Stał przed głównym wejściem i czekał na dzieci, żeby się z nimi przywitać. Babcia, gdy to opowiada, a lubi tę część, mówi: "Pandoktor się do nas uśmiechał. Jak tylko go zobaczyłam, to wiedziałam, że Pandoktor to dobry człowiek". I mówi "Pandoktor" tak, jakby to był jeden wyraz. A ja ją poprawiam: "Babciu. Pan doktor, dwa wyrazy". A ona kręci głową, że nie. Bo jako dziecko tak się do niego zwracała, bo tak mówili wszyscy, jednym tchem: "Pandoktor". I tak już zostanie".
