As the title says i stumbled upon this treasure trove of material after having read the gateway process declassified documents of cia and 🇺🇸 army. They went to the Monroe institute in an attempt to figure out how to teleport and i can tell you, if you believe what is written im here is esoteric and voodoo... You may wanna take a look at the aforementioned document by doing a simple google search, through cia's own library. You'll see quickly that in 1983 the army figured out not only all that he is claiming in here are true but sent people to train with him.

Wow! I learned so much about OBE and why the CIA was so interested in the Gateway Project. The Narration was amazing; I actually thought Robert Monroe was talking to me and I kept forgetting it was a narrator! I also recommend books on the CIA Stargate (Remote Viewing) program that also got trained at the Monroe Institute: Penetration by Ingo Swann, Reading the Enemy's Mind by Paul H. Smith, The Seventh Sense by Lyn Buchanan and the Joe McGonagall books. I can't wait to read to the next 2 books in this series. I have done this accidentally but am trying to do it consciously; a few times I seemed to have started to succeed but then fell back: I will keep practicing his techniques.

Get this and prepare yourself for radical changes

This book provides a scientific analysis of a range of OBEs experienced by the author, with some contemplation on the nature of these experiences and implications for explaining the greater reality we occupy. I really enjoyed hearing a more scientific, careful look at these sorts of experiences without the heavy personal baggage that often contaminates such accounts for study. If we are to move into an age where consciously travelling through these realms is commonplace, this type of study will be the way we bridge the gap.
The overall message seems to be that there is nothing unnatural about our ability to do this. In fact, the author proposes that all people likely do it every night. Being able to retain memories from these states by keeping a level of consciousness while you drift off is the proposed ability that humans must regain. This was the fall from grace, and is our path back to the higher.

I am only a few chapters in and I love this book. Very helpful to hear of experiences very similar to my own. A must for everyone interested in a little night time travel.

I have had my own experience so reading this was extremely powerful. Monroe's 'mapping' of the other side definitely makes it more understandable.

The author has used the word “negro” several times in the book. I understand it was written in the 1960s but can the new editions correct this?
