Description

A liberating journey through the life and times of Brittany Renner. This book details the experiences of a woman whom some love and others love to hate. It's a behind-the-scenes look into her life. Some may categorize and prejudge without knowing her story, but here is her truth. Written in a raw and real voice with wittiness and humor, Brittany allows you to walk a mile in her shoes. Depending on your appetite for truth and reality, this book may make you laugh, cry, cringe, or all of the above. You should never judge a book by its cover.

entertainment

Very very very light read for entertainment purposes. If you secretly enjoy gossip, this will pass your time. There was not anything deeply profound, just interesting to listen about another's life experience.

Fantastic listen!

From the moment I started listening I was hooked! Brutally honest and exposed. Such and amazing story that is read with such passion and character. Not to mention she is absolutely hilarious.

That's honest !

I really appreciate the book, Brittany was open and vulnerable. I love that some can learn from her stories. She's great and She teaches you to love yourself and to be your best unapologetic self! If we'd meet we would be friends.

Great, juicy and honest

The only thing that I would have liked is for Brittany to have narrated this book with her regular speaking voice. The narration at parts was a bit robotic but still very entertaining. I hope she writes another book, I love this woman's energy and authenticity.

Terribly pathetic

Aside from the immature writing style, this book is nothing like described. She has no clear lessons presented, and lacks any insightful thinking. A book about the basic LA, clout chasing, hoe life. Every story was her playing victim and pointing fingers at everyone but herself, continuously repeating the same mistake without looking within and learning the real harsh lessons. Very hypocritical in nature. Topped off with a conclusion which reads like a cliche motivational quote coffee table book with no direction. An attempt to sound insightful — failed. Waste of my time.

Warning: Don’t waste your time

Listening to her narrate was annoying during most of the book. The writing was premature, as if a high school student wrote it and tried to sound philosophical. Each story was basically the same and of course, everything was always someone else’s fault. Her blunt/ descriptive truths about her sexual encounters (champion’s breakfast; giving a blowjob on the first meet up because she felt odd about the guy not making a sexual pass at her) and selfish ways (careless about someone who tried to commit suicide) were extremely distasteful. This book just tells us that she’s a pretty girl with a lot of hurt, most likely stemming from her parental guidance and the lack there off.

A Waste Of A Free Book

First off, it took me three days to finish because I felt like I was back in elementary reading aloud in class listening to her read😣. After Seth, the stories became repetitive and most of metaphors didn’t compliment the content. I’m still trying to figure out what were the seven lessons. And why did people say Chris Brown and Tyga were in the book? Their personas don’t even match with Ivan and Solomon

Can I get my money back?

Yikes. So, I have never taken the time to give a bad review, I only ever take the time to submit them when I have high praise to give. Maybe it's because I am not a scorned women with a laundry list of complaints towards men from past relationships, or maybe it's because I read this the day after finishing the literary masterpiece titled "Educated" by Tara Westover, but either way, this is terrible, terrible writing, and contains no substance. Throughout the entire book, I kept wondering if she Googled "cliches" or "corny Instagram captions to use under selfies" and then strung every one of them together in her attempts to transition between true events. It reads like, "love is all you need, right? Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? Patience is a virtue, right?" Man it was cringe worthy. I am not sure what she was trying to accomplish with this, other than maybe adding "author" to her Instagram profile, but if she thinks this is something that all women need to read to realize their true worth, it was a horrible attempt and total failure. It should be labeled as a journal, not a book. I tried to see the lessons in the text, but chapter after chapter is just a "can you believe he did this? I am way too kind-hearted to deserve that!" Apparently men are evil and women are never the problem, so why learn any lessons in relationships? I could go on and on about how much regret I feel for wasting half a day listening to this, but at least it's over now. Thank goodness it was a short listen. Side note, is a 4 hour audiobook even long enough to be considered a book, or it is a pamphlet? Note to anyone skimming through reviews, if you're going to read it, you should maybe binge on reality television first to get your mind dumbed down, and then immediately after reading, make sure to follow up with an actual novel from a seasoned author to recover brain cells. My final thought on this is, I guess in 2019, if everyone can make music, then everyone can write a book too.

Save your time

Not well written or read. Tons of terribly placed metaphors that were not in keeping with the theme. Senseless rants and ever changing topics plagued the book. If better written probably would have been easier to digest. Do not recommend nor would I reread.

Her voiced irked me the whole way through....

There was little to no story/character development. A whole bunch finger pointing. This was very disappointing. I'm getting a refund for this one.

Thot chronicles

This book reminds me of something I would have written in HS. Lacks tremendous insight and pretty much describes the mistakes made by a lost young lady on her way to self respect. Wasn’t able to stomach it past a certain point so I turned it of—not sure if she ever learned self respect but hopefully! I’d rather go to the dentist than finish this book. It was too basic and below my

Predictable

A girl falling in love with every guy who shows her attentionBlah Blah Blah. Her performance was good but I will be returning for the pathetic story. Best part was the last 10 minutes.

A cup of flavorless tea

The author dares us to judge her based solely on initial observations; an Instagram star who promotes herself solely on looks, what could she possibly write about? The answer turns out to be, very little.

The first thing you should realize going into this book is, it's not what you heard. This book is not a tell all about how how a famous ex-football star made her pay for her own plane tickets, or the wild sex between her and a famous mumble rapper, no this is not that; although there are bits of that in there. This is also not the millennial version of super head, a 90's video vixen famous for exposing some of hip-hops hottest stars, This is also not a deep dive into an Instagram star and how she is more than the sum of her likes and follows. This is not any of that.

This book is a woman famous for her ass-ets trying to write a book about love using the same lesson repeated and never learned with guys who we only care about because the media told us it was Drake or Tyga, but are clearly not. This is a book that clearly had very little direction in performance; granted this gave more of a candid feel. This book from chapter to chapter feels like a broken record and just when you thought she had a pearl of wisdom to give us, it turns out it was a bead out of her boba' tea.

Brittany dares us to judge her and by the time she is done we've already made up our minds; we were right the whole time. The author fails to seize an opportunity to explore the preconceived notions of her, to mix what she learned and how she learned it. She had every opportunity to pull back the curtain, show us who she is, how she got there, and all the heartbreak in between, but she doesn't, she focuses on these few guys who we all think are famous people what she did with them in all her detail and move on with, but why didn't he stay.

To judge Brittany is to place yourself in the unpopular opinion, she's cute as hell and she has a large following so It's a shame she didn't take this opportunity to prove that you can't judge a book by it's cover,

Straight trash. I feel sorry for this young lady

This book should serve as a testament to 1. Always use contraception if you’re not ready to become a parent which is what her parents should have done. 2. If you are blessed to have children then give them your all. This young lady wasn’t raised, she just grew up. I hope she finds self love and wisdom in her journey because this book is just down right SAD.
