I loved that this memoir was read by the author herself. She has such a pleasant voice. I found the listening experience so calming. It kept me engaged as well as had me laughing and crying all at the same time. At times, I could relate to what was being said, and I feel many listeners will have the same experience.
I found it difficult to stop listening. If I had somewhere to go I listened in my car through Bluetooth. As they say it is “hard to put a good book down”.
Rosemarie Aquilina is such an inspiration. I learned not to start my questions of others with ‘Why’ and instead ask and really listen to what someone wants me to know. I am not a Judge or a lawyer, but these are words of wisdom that everyone can apply to everyday life, to every relationship, personal or professional.
From her experiences of childhood to becoming a wife, mother, caregiver to aging parents all while working on her own career, fulfilling her goals and dreams in life is truly an inspiration to all.
‘Just Watch Me’ by Judge Rosemarie Aquilina definitely is one to be added to your listening list!
