Book two is just as astounding as the first. What Keri 2 does so well is tell the truth without dressing it up or asking the listener to look away.

Listening to this as someone who has lived through abuse is a different experience. You don’t hear it as “a story.” You hear it as recognition. Not the same life, not the same details — but the same moments, the same confusion, the same quiet realizations that only make sense if you’ve been there.
