 In this spirited and romantic saga, a young heir named David Balfour meets his miserly uncle Ebenezer, who has illegally taken control of the Balfour estate. Good narrator, although had a hard time focusing on the story. Just the main characters running around Scotland mostly, but still a decent adventure novel.

I suppose I read Kidnapped as a child, but I don’t remember it. The story started a bit slow for me, but eventually got into it. Decent narration. Looking forward to Catriona, the sequel.
